The Danish authorities are planning to employ people in Turkey and Spain to find those who receive Danish transfer payments they are not entitled to, according to Jyllands-Posten.

“We have seen examples of pensioners and disability pension recipients living abroad and receiving payments they are not eligible for. The Netherlands and Norway have had good experiences in sending out comptrollers – so we are going to follow suit,” says Employment Minister Inger Støjberg.
