The former chairman of the Danish Communist Party, now Parliamentary Group Chairman of the Socialist People’s Party Ole Sohn is distancing himself from his former party and regrets sending a flattering letter to East Germany’s erstwhile leader Erich Honecker.
“I believe that the Danish Communist Party, and thus also what I represented, was wrong. That is also why I regret the letters that were sent,” Sohn tells TV2.
