Rungstedlund, the home of one of Denmark’s literary giants Karen Blixen, has asked the Ministry of Culture to be put on the budget due to several years of deficits, according to Frederiksborg Amts Avis.
The Rungstedlund museum is currently run by a private foundation with equity of some DKK 24 million. The day-to-day running of the museum, however, has resulted in several years of deficit and is slowly eating away the capital.
