Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen has ordered the defence minister to investigate allegations that Denmark handed Iraqi prisoners over to Iraqi authorities, despite having information that prisoners were being tortured.
Both internal documents from the Defence Ministry and documents published by WikiLeaks show that the defence forces knew that some Iraqi prisoners were handed over to Iraqi authorities who later tortured them.
