Statistics Denmark has released its jobless figures showing a seasonally adjusted increase of 2,500 from August to September or a total of 168,300 overall unemployed or 6.2 percent.
Statistics Denmark says the increase is the result of 3,500 more unemployed but 1,000 less people on job activation projects.
