The EU’s Slovenian Environment Commissioner Janez Potocnic has sent the Danish authorities a Reasoned Opinion in which Denmark is urged to present its water environment plans.
The Water Environment Plan should have been received by Brussels on Dec. 22, 2009 at the latest, but at the time, the Danish government had not even sent the plan out for public hearings, a process that would delay it for 18 months.
