Document: Govt. knew of Iraqi torture and killing

The government informed Parliament that it was unaware of the torture of people detained or handed over by Danish forces in Iraq, but a new document suggests that the government did have information on torture, according to Information.

According to Information’s report, the Danish ambassador to Iraq held a meeting in with the Iraqi minister for home affairs in Baghdad on June 1, 2005.
