The Danish command and support vessel Esbern Snare made short shrift of a pirate mother ship discovered off Somalia’s eastern seaboard yesterday.
After taking six Somalis off the vessel and securing evidence, it was blown up. Much of the large armoury of weapons on board was confiscated, while explosives were blown up with the vessel.
