More than 33 percent of young women between the ages of 20 and 24 who terminate a pregnancy have also had a previous abortion, according to Jyllands-Posten.
“We are somewhat surprised that there are so many repeat terminations and it shows the need for better counselling,” says Chief Physician Charlotte Wilken-Jensen, head of Roskilde Hospital’s Gynaecology and Obstetrics Dept.
