The government’s slim, 90-seat majority for its 2011 budget may be in danger due to Liberal MP Marion Pedersen’s (Lib) demand that vehicle scrapping requirements are changed, according to Berlingske Tidende.
“As things are at the moment, I cannot vote for the budget. This is a core issue for me. I don’t like it because I like my party and the fact that we are in government – but I have to be true to myself and would like to be able to look at myself in the mirror in the morning,” Pedersen is reported as saying.
