The latest Megafon poll for Politiken and TV2 shows the left-wing Red-Green Party (Enhedslisten) with its best-ever result in an opinion poll, seemingly taking voters from the Socialist People’s Party.
“This just shows that if you are a left-winger and don’t like the immigration policy and feel we should have an economic policy based on solidarity, the Red-Greens are the only ones to vote for,” says Red-Green Political Spokesperson Johanne Schmidt-Nielsen, whose party doubles its following in the poll to 4.9 percent compared with the 2007 election result.
