The expected WikiLeaks release of 297 documents regarding US-Danish relations has prompted former US Ambassador to Denmark James Cain to disclose the type of content of some of the diplomatic reporting that he was responsible for.

“I wrote to President Bush that there was cause for concern in the case of a change in government, because I knew that a Social Democratic government would be dependent on the Social Liberals and the Socialist People’s Party – and that this would suggest a change in course,” Cain tells Berlingske Tidende of the 2007 general election in Denmark.
