Earlier this year Dansk Maersk received a letter from Argentine authorities threatening the company with sanctions, according to a WikiLeaks release of a memo to the State Department from the US Ambassador to Buenos Aires Vilma Martinez.
The memorandum involved a resurgence in February of the conflict between Britain and Argentina over the Falkland Islands, which Argentina knows as the Malvinas, in connection with oil exploration off the islands.
