An effigy of an elf hanged on a gallows in front of the Løkken Free Church has resulted in threats against Vicar Jon Knudsen following his hanging of the elf on Sunday.
“At the same time we have found it necessary for the congregation to set up guards to avoid vandalism,” says Knudsen, who also has to turn off his telephone at night to avoid harassment.
