The controversy over a Ministry of Health report on National Health Service payments to private hospitals has re-emerged following disclosures that the National Auditor was given an incomplete version.
New documentation from the ministry shows that the National Auditor was given a less than complete version of the report in July 2009, despite the fact that a complete document existed and had been sent to the Finance Ministry and Board of Health.
