PISA: Danish pupils behind

Danish pupils do not learn as much as their counterparts in countries Denmark normally compares itself with, according to Foreign Minister Lene Espersen commenting on a new PISA test of the Danish schooling system that is to be released later today.

“I believe that the PISA report that comes on Tuesday unfortunately confirms the picture of a national school that at best remains still and at worst is falling behind,” Espersen tells Berlingske Tidende, which says that the report will show Asian countries storming ahead.
