Following yesterday’s OECD PISA report, which showed that reading abilities among Danish schoolchildren have not improved for a decade and that pupils are worse at mathematics, the Danish government is announcing a school reform package.
“The results suggest that we have not advanced enough so that one of the world’s most expensive state schooling systems is also among the best in the world,” Education Minister Tina Nedergaard (Lib) says of the PISA report.
