A Danish soldier was seriously hurt on Tuesday morning when a roadside bomb went off during a patrol near Patrol Base Line, six kilometres northeast of Gereshk in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province, according to Army Operational Command.
First Aid was administered immediately, after which the Charlie Company soldier was evacuated by helicopter to the field hospital at Camp Bastion.
