Afghan asylum children to be sent back

A law which is to narrowly pass through Parliament today will enable Denmark to repatriate unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors.

The new law has the support of the Liberals, Conservatives, Danish People’s Party and Christian Democrats, and will pass despite protests from the Danish Red Cross, Save the Children, the Danish Refugee Council, the Children’s Council and Children’s Welfare in Denmark.
