Two of the Conservative Party’s prominent hopefuls have delivered a scathing attack against the party leadership, saying the party has failed in its leadership and in furthering Conservative policies, according to Berlingske Tidende.

“It’s not strange that the opinion polls are so bad at the moment. The electorate is punishing the party for not having direction and not conducting Conservative policy,” says Mette Abildgaard, a candidate for Parliament and who received 15,000 votes in the last EU election.
