The most popular Xmas tree this year is a 2-metre Nordmann Fir – and it is some 20-25 percent more expensive this year than last year according to producers, who say a tree of this type and size will cost about DKK 160 per metre.
The increase in prices this year comes over and above an 80 percent increase in prices between 2005 and 2009.
