Foreign Minister and Conservative Party Leader Lene Espersen (Cons) may be in trouble on the home front, but some international and domestic partners say she is a breath of fresh air as Denmark’s foreign minister.
“She is a very engaged and positive person who gives a good picture of Denmark. So I don’t really understand the Danish debate – but that is not new,” Sweden’s Foreign Minister Carl Bildt (Cons) tells Politiken.
