Denmark’s Security and Intelligence Service (PET) has arrested four people on suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack in Copenhagen. A fifth person has been arrested in Stockholm.
PET says those arrested were in the process of preparing an attack against a newspaper, which the service says was the Jyllands-Posten and Politiken offices in Copenhagen. According to PET, the attack was imminent, and police discovered strips, a machine gun and silencer and ammunition during searches of arrestee premises.
