Unusually cold winter weather has gripped Denmark, with temperatures overnight plummeting to minus 16.7 degrees in North Jutland and minus 15.9 degrees in Karup.
“It has been very cold, with locations around Jutland reporting temperatures of -10, -13, and -15 degrees due to clear skies, no wind and lots of snow to retain the cold,” says Met Office Duty Officer Michael Skelbæk.
