The Danish Shipowners’ Association has called for an emergency meeting of the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) to add impetus to anti-piracy efforts.
“We have called the meeting in frustration at the international community’s slowness in addressing the issue of piracy off Somalia,” says Danish Shipowners’ Association Deputy Director Fritz Hansen.
