The governing Liberal Party says that Denmark should urge the European Union to open a case against Greece as a result of asylum conditions that have forced other EU countries to take over its responsibilities.

“I have difficulty in seeing how the European Commission can avoid an opening statement after the (European Courtof Human Rights) ruling. I am sure that (Integration Minister) Birthe Rønn Hornbech will put pressure on the EU to solve these problems,” Liberal Party Political Spokesman Karsten Lauritzen tells Ritzau.
