Toyota is recalling some 1.7 million vehicles worldwide, with 3,800 of these believed to be in Denmark, as a result of concerns about a potential fuel issue although no accidents related to the problem have been reported.
The 3,800 vehicles recalled in Denmark are Toyota Avensis 2.0s and 2.4s produced between 2000 and 2008. Owners of the vehicles will be contacted in the near future. As of Wednesday it will also be possible to key in a chassis number on the Toyota website to see whether a vehicle is being recalled.
