A typical Danish academic works four years more than those with shorter or no further education according to figures from the Danish Association of Lawyers and Economists (DJØF) and Statistics Denmark.
“Over the past three weeks we have heard so much about what an easy life our members have, but we work for many, many hours over a working lifetime,” says DJØF Chairman Finn Borch Andersen.
