Following a short upturn in the wake of the prime minister’s New Year’s speech, the momentum seems to have gone out of the Liberal Party’s electoral support judging from the latest Megafon opinion poll for Politiken and TV2.
According to the poll the governing Liberal Party has dropped to 21.2 percent of the vote, compared with 24.3 percent immediately following the New Year’s speech, during which Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said he envisaged abolishing the early retirement scheme.
