Danish psychologists and the Union of NCOs have reacted strongly to a ruling by a judge in the lower court that a psychologist must repeat the content of a consultation with a soldier in which the soldier spoke of prisoner abuse in Afghanistan.
The Copenhagen Municipal Court judge ruled on December 13 that a psychologist could not claim patient confidentiality to protect her client and must repeat what had been said regarding prisoner abuse.
