Crevasses are developing between the parties of the government alliance following the Conservative Party’s go-it-alone statements of the past two days.

Yesterday, the party’s newly-crowned political spokeswoman Carina Christensen suggested tax cuts of DKK 35 billion. Today Trade and Economy Minister Brian Mikkelsen has announced that the party wants a ceiling on public expenditure.
