Roj-TV, which is facing a terrorism charge in Denmark, has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by some 150 politicians and human rights activists, including former Archbishop Desmond Tutu who won the prize himself in 1984 for his work against apartheid.

Several Danes have also signed the nomination, including Tue Magnussen, a member of the Board of the Danish United Nations Association and the Danish Helsinki Committee.
