The 29-year-old Somali man MMG who broke into the Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard’s house in 2010 has been found guilty of terrorism and attempted murder by a Copenhagen court. He is to be sentenced on Friday.
The man has repeatedly denied the terrorism and attempted murder charges, admitting only illegal entry and attempting to attack police officers. The court in Aarhus, however, has found him guilty of terrorism, the attempted murder of Westergaard, the attempted murder of one policeman who eventually shot him and an attack with an axe against another policeman in a vehicle.
