The DR Board has chosen Maria Rørbye Rønn, 46, as the new director-general of the national broadcaster, the Board has confirmed.
Rørbye Rønn has previously worked in the Justice Ministry and was employed as corporate counsel at DR in 1995. Most recently she has headed the DR Legal Policy and Strategy Department. She was appointed director-general ad interim following Kenneth Plummer’s resignation last October.
