A majority of Copenhagen councillors are this afternoon expected to vote in favour of constructing two mosques in the city in one of the most controversial political issues of recent years.

A majority led by the Social Democrats and Socialist People’s Party will push the issue through, but to the dismay of the Danish People’s Party (DPP).
