The issue involving the illegal rejection of citizenship for stateless children and young people has driven a wedge between the Liberals and Conservatives.
Conservative Nationality Spokesman Tom Behnke has said that citizenship should be offered to the 460 Palestinians who either currently have or have previously had the right to citizenship, including those over 21 who have previously had a right to citizenship but whose applications have rejected, or who have not been aware of their legal rights.
