Employment fell in the fourth quarter of 2010 by a seasonally adjusted 12,000 according to the latest figures from Statistics Denmark, the second quarter in a row that employment has dropped.
“The drop in employment has slowed after the massive downturn in connection with the major economic crisis, but today’s figures paint a picture of a labour market that is not showing signs of improvement,” says Handelsbanken Chief Economist Jes Asmussen.
