EU employees earn too much

Denmark’s Finance Minister Claus Hjort Frederiksen (Lib) says that wages and salaries paid to EU employees are just too high and that Denmark plans to put the issue at the top of the agenda for Denmark’s six-month stint next year as president of the European Union.

“At a time of financial crisis, the Commission should show reasonable constraint and limit wage increases for EU employees,” Hjort Frederiksen tells Politiken.
