The opposition is increasing its lead on the government, with the tailwind the government had after Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen’s New Year’s speech seemingly having dissipated, according to the latest Megafon poll for Politiken and TV2
Over the past month, the opposition has increased its lead over the government by two percentage points, with the poll showing that the Social Democrats, the Socialist People’s Party, the Red Greens and the Social Liberals would garner 54.4 percent of the vote if an election were held now. The government alliance would get 45.6 percent.
