NATO’s Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen is to cut short a round trip to E. Europe and return to Brussels, where he has called an emergency council meeting to study the issue of any possible intervention in the Libyan crisis.
"I have convened an emergency meeting in the NATO council this afternoon to consult on this fast-moving situation. So I will return to Brussels in a few hours," he told Reuters during a visit to Budapest on Friday.
