The Danish-owned Mærsk Alabama container vessel, which is in American service, has again been attacked by Somali pirates, the third time that the vessel has been attacked according to reports on ABC.
The report says that four pirates approached the vessel in a fast skiff on Tuesday. Warning shots were fired from the Alabama, but the pirates continued their approach until orders were given to open fire on the attackers. The new orders caused the suspected pirates to make off.
