The Danish Navy’s command and support warship Esbern Snare is to remain in the Indian Ocean for a further three months following a decision by the Parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee Wednesday.
“The goal is that Esbern Snare will re-enter NATO’s mission and continue the work we have been doing with such success up to March 1,” says Defence Minister Gitte Lillelund Bech, adding there is need for a long-term solution to the piracy problem.
