Foreign Minister Lene Espersen has welcomed the United Nations Security Council decision on Libya and is preparing to rush through the Parliamentary process to allow the Danish Air Force to take part in a coalition of the willing.
“We are delighted with the strong and robust mandate from the Security Council and my first step is to take the initiative to discuss the next move with parliamentary parties at a meeting of the Foreign Policy Committee,” Espersen tells Ritzau, adding the committee may meet already on Friday morning.
