Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen says he is gratified that following a week of hard negotiations, NATO is ready to play ‘a leading role’ in the ongoing military operations in Libya.
“We can be happy that somewhere in this town there has been a clarification of the situation, so that it is now clear that NATO will play the leading role as we move forward,” Løkke Rasmussen says adding: “A good clarification which completely matches Danish wishes”.
