Denmark’s Foreign Minister Lene Espersen says the situation in Côte D’Ivoire is now so serious that the international community must act.
“The situation in Côte D’Ivoire is very serious. The risk that the country ends up in yet another civil war has unfortunately grown in recent days, as has the risk that the conflict will have a destabilising effect on the rest of the region – particularly Liberia where peace is still fragile,” Espersen says.
