Unemployment in Denmark fell by 2,900 in February bringing the overall number of unemployed in the country to 163,000 or six per cent and the lowest figure since May 2010, according to the latest figures from Statistics Denmark.
“After a period with some signs of weakness in the Danish labour market, the February figures were a positive surprise,” says Handelsbanken Chief Economist Jes Asmussen.
