The Danish foreign ministry has issued an amended travel advisory for Danes travelling to Thailand, warning of flash flooding in some areas.
“Travellers should be aware that in March 2011, several of Thailand’s southern provinces have been hit by heavy rainfall and winds. This has led to flooding and the cancellation of transport facilities to and from several islands in the area,” the advisory says.
