Several Liberal Party members are looking for the Danish welfare state to be realigned so that people insure themselves against some of the ailments that they currently get free of charge, according to Berlingske.
The group feels that the current pressure on the welfare state makes it necessary to take a critical look at tax-funded welfare, such as self-inflicted ailments such as sports injuries or obesity operations.
