Two years after taking over the premiership from Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (Lib) began his Tuesday news conference by congratulating his government on its handling of the economic crisis.
Løkke Rasmussen reminded his audience that he took over the reins of power at a time when ‘the economic crisis was washing across Denmark and the rest of the world’.
