Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen has unveiled the foundation of a new monument to Danish personnel who have been deployed abroad since 1948.
“We will also be shouldering an international responsibility in the future. We will also be putting action behind words. We will also in the future take on new tasks and new missions,” Løkke Rasmussen said during a ceremony at Kastellet in Copenhagen.
